Adai Dosa | Mixed Lentil Crepe (Version 1)

Ingredients:
1 Cup Rice
1 Cup Urad Dhall (Split Black Gram)
½ cup Moong Beans(Split Green Gram)
¼ cup Toor Dhall (Split Pigeon Peas)
¼ Channa Dhall (Split Chickpeas/ Bengal Gram)
½ tsp Asafoetida
½ Onion (Large)
1 cup Cilantro/ Coriander leaves
1 tsp Salt
½ tsp Chilli Powder
1 tsp Turmeric powder (optional)
Oil for drizzling
Method:
- Soak rice and other lentils [ First five ingredients in the list] for 3-4 hours.
- Grind everything together until it is soft and fluffy.
- To the ground batter, add asafoetida, salt, chilli Powder,turmeric powder and mix well. You can add them while grinding as well.
- Pour about 5 tablespoon batter on a hot dosa tawa or any flat pan and swirl as shown in the picture.
- Drizzle or spray oil and cook for 2 minutes over medium heat, flip it over and cook for another 2 minutes until both sides turn golden.
- Serve hot with coconut chutney. Healthy and Delicious!

Notes:
- I used Indian grinder. You can use mixie or blender too. If so, add 4-5 ice cubes to prevent the batter from getting too hot.
- You can add grated carrot, zucchini, drumstick leaves(Malungai), chopped green chillies to the batter before making dosa.
