French toast with mixed berry sauce

Ingredients:
For Sauce:
2 Cups frozen/ fresh berries (I used frozen)
2 tsp honey
1 tsp sugar
A pinch of salt
¾ cup water
For French Toast:
4 Whole Wheat Bread
2 eggs
¾ cup Milk
½ tbsp honey/ sugar
½ tsp cinnamon powder (optional)
A pinch of salt
Method:
- In a sauce pan, add the berries, honey, sugar, salt, water and cook over medium heat.
- Mash the fruits when it gets softer and cook until the sauce thickens.
- In the meanwhile, beat eggs, milk, honey/sugar, salt, cinnamon powder until nice and frothy.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat, add 1 tsp butter and spread well over the pan. (1/2 tsp butter for one bread)
- Dip the bread in the egg mixture, when well coated, place on the greased skillet and cook until it turns light brown on both sides.
- Serve French toast with the fresh mixed berry sauce. Healthy and Tasty! Enjoy!

- Always use whole wheat bread to increase the nutrition value along with fiber.
- You can make this sauce using any berry available (fresh or frozen).
