Ingredients:
1 cup Broken Wheat
2.5 cups water
5-6 Shallots
½ tsp Ginger
1 tsp Mustard Seeds
1 tsp Channa Dhall
8 Whole Cashews
1/4 cup Raisins
2 Red Chillies
1 Sprig Curry Leaves
1 tsp coconut oil
¼ tsp salt
Method:
- Roast Broken Wheat in slow flame for 5 minutes until the color starts changing to light brown.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat, add the mustard seeds, once it starts to crackle, add channa dhall, cashews and fry until the color changes to slight brown.
- Add the curry leaves, ginger, shallots and fry for a minute.
- Add water, salt and let it boil. Once it starts boiling add the broken rava and cook for 2 minutes over medium heat and 5 minutes covered in low heat.
- Garnish with raisins. Serve hot with a sprinkle of jaggery, sugar or with a side of coconut chutney.

Notes:
- If your wheat rava is very fine just add water in the ratio of 1:2.
- Vegetables like carrot, beans, peas can be added to make it more rich in nutrition. If so add 1/2 cup of water for every one cup of vegetable added.
